Moving Seniors Forward was a proud sponsor of “Salute to the Troops: A Heartfelt Tribute to Our Heroes” on June 15 in Conejo Creek North Park in Thousand Oaks. Members of the group, including co-founder Linda Archie, distributed resource materials for seniors at a table set up at the event. Archie also sang the patriotic song “America the Beautiful” as part of the festivities.

Among the highlights were speeches by Captain Charlie Plumb, a Vietnam veteran and former prisoner of war, and ASA founder Linda Patterson, the visionary behind ASA.
