Shuttles will be available from the library and park to the Goebel Adult Community Center, 1385 E. Janns Road in Thousand Oaks, where the event will be held. Admission is free.
One of the highlights will be a Senior Job Fair organized by the Workforce Committee of the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging’s Advisory Council.
Employers who are scheduled to be at the job fair include:
- City of Thousand Oaks
- Comfort Keepers
- Conejo Valley Unified School District
- Royal Staffing
- Senior Helpers

The Wellness Fest is an annual event dedicated to promoting health and well-being for older adults in the community.
“We’re very happy to once again be offering a job fair at the Wellness Fest,” said Stephanie Belding, chairperson of the Workforce Committee and a member of Moving Seniors Forward. “Our first one last year was hugely successful. We will again have various employers in attendance from the Thousand Oaks area and the County of Ventura, all of which are age-friendly employers. Remember, it’s never too late to find a job you’ll love!”
