Join Dementia Friendly Ventura County for “Living Well, Caring Well,” a one-stop-shop for people living with dementia-related disease and their caregivers. The event will be held 1-3 p.m. June 7 at the Goebel Adult Community Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, in Thousand Oaks. It will feature adult day centers, Adult Protective Services, Alzheimer’s Association, caregiver resources, financial resources, Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy, in-home care, legal and advanced planning, long-term care ombudsman, neurology, and public benefits programs such as IHSS, Medi-Cal and CalFresh. Speak to industry professionals in person, navigate resources and learn about services designed especially for you.
