Donated items needed for Conejo Senior Volunteer Program

Organizers of the Conejo Senior Volunteer Program and its boutique need your help. The organization generously donates more than 2,000 handmade items annually, and is looking for donations.

New merchandise such as dishes and kitchenware, toys, books, picture frames, candles, stationary, cards, pet items and holiday decor are needed, as well as new and gently used jewelry, and craft items, including fabric, ribbon, buttons and yard.

Blankets and knitted hats for babies, teddy bears, pillows, aprons, jewelry and various gift items have been distributed in the past to the Autism Society, America Supporting Americans, Every Child’s Dream, Hospice of the Conejo, May Mansions and Mary Health of the Sick.

If you are an artisan or a generous soul (or both), please drop off your donations at Goebel Adult Community Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, in Thousand Oaks. For more information, contact Conejo Senior Volunteer Program Director Julie Spivack at 805-381-2742 or email jspivack@crpd.org.

For 51 years, CSVP has supported over 75 local nonprofits and public service organizations with the goal to raise awareness about their community outreach program.
